Privacy policy
Controllers and purposes
Joan Ribalta Serentill and Carme Gabernet Castelló jointly process data to operate YuppiYa and Cartells, handle widget requests, convert submitted posters into draft activities, review and publish them, and allow the sender to modify them. Minimal technical logs are also processed for security, diagnostics, and service delivery.
The widget request form sends the name, email address, organization or project, website, message, and IP address to subscription.yuppiya.com. The data is retained for no more than one year after the last contact.
Email publishing and artificial intelligence
When someone sends a poster to cartells@yuppiya.com, the sender address, email, attached image, and activity data are processed. Gemini analyzes the image and content without receiving the sender’s email address. To prepare the draft, automated tools from external providers may access the YuppiYa mailbox —including the sender address— and the database, with processing limited to the information required.
AI does not decide whether to publish: it leaves the activity as a draft, and Joan or Carme reviews it before publication. Human access to the mailbox and this data is limited to these two people.
Original emails, sender data, attachments, database records, and backups are deleted after one year without activity. Posters and activity data are deleted once the activity has passed. Data processed by OpenAI must also be deleted within the same period; OpenAI may complete deletion from its systems later under the service terms.
Providers and analytics
The service uses Google Cloud Platform, Firebase, Gmail, Gemini, and OpenAI. Google Analytics is enabled only after consent and processes usage and device data to measure how Cartells is used. Google AdSense is enabled only with specific advertising consent.
Processing is based on handling the sender’s request, consent where required, the legitimate interest in keeping the service secure, and, for analytics or advertising cookies, consent that can be withdrawn at any time.
Third-party content
Anyone submitting an image declares that they have the rights or permissions needed to publish its text, logos, photographs, and personal data. Corrections or removal can be requested at hello@yuppiya.com.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, or portability where applicable by contacting the responsible persons. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
